Selling for $17,631,075 at Phillips Geneva in 2025, this stainless steel Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph ref. 1518 set a world record as the most expensive vintage Patek Philippe wristwatch sold at public auction. It is the first of only four known examples and believed to be the first produced. Among the 94 documented Patek Philippe results in the corpus, it ranks behind only the brand record $31,000,000 Grandmaster Chime from 2019.
