About this reference

The Patek Philippe Reference 5208T-010 is a unique piece manufactured specifically for the 2017 Only Watch charity auction. While the standard 5208 was introduced in 2011 in platinum and later rose gold, this specific iteration is the only version of the reference ever cased in titanium. It features the caliber R CH 27 PS QI, a self-winding movement integrating a minute repeater, a monopusher chronograph, and an instantaneous perpetual calendar with aperture displays. The dial is distinguished by a blue finish with a hand-guilloché "Carbon" pattern, a motif repeated on the movement rotors. Because it is a unique piece, it does not have a standard secondary market price range; however, it sold at the 2017 Christie’s Geneva auction for 6.2 million CHF. This remains one of the highest prices ever paid for a Patek Philippe wristwatch, reflecting its status as a one-of-one material variant.
