About this reference

Released in early 2021, the Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black (reference 507.CX.9000.RX.TAK21) was a limited edition of 200 pieces and is no longer in production. Collectors value this reference for its integration of Murakami’s "Smiling Flower" motif, featuring a three-dimensional dial where the petals rotate via a ball-bearing system powered by the movement. The 45mm case is constructed from polished black ceramic, housing the Unico manufacture caliber HUB1214, an automatic movement with a 72-hour power reserve. The dial is set with 456 black diamonds across the petals and 107 black diamonds on the face. On the secondary market, this reference typically trades between $50,000 and $80,000. This model marked the first collaboration between Hublot and Murakami, preceding the Sapphire and Rainbow iterations. A unique "All Black" version was notably auctioned at Only Watch 2021, featuring a sapphire case and colored gemstones.
