The Rolex Military Submariner reference 5513, commonly known as the "MilSub," was produced for the British Ministry of Defence between approximately 1971 and 1979. Collectors value this reference due to specific military-grade modifications that distinguish it from standard civilian models, including fixed lug bars for NATO straps, a circled "T" on the dial indicating tritium luminescence, and oversized sword hands for improved legibility.
