Collectors value the watch for its distinct aesthetic treatment, featuring a 41mm case, bracelet, and bezel aged through a secret chemical process to mimic decades of wear. It contains the manufacture caliber MT5652, a COSC-certified GMT movement with a Master Chronometer certification from METAS, marking the first time this standard was applied to a Tudor GMT. The matte black dial and hands also feature an aged finish to match the exterior. While there are no secondary market listings due to its unique status, it sold at auction in November 2021 for 650,000 CHF, roughly 100 times its retail estimate. This result remains one of the highest prices ever paid for a Tudor timepiece.
